Metal Roofing in York Region
Steel shingles, standing seam and aluminum roofing for homes from Markham to Lake Simcoe.
Classic Products has installed metal roofing across York Region, from Markham, Richmond Hill and Vaughan to Newmarket, Aurora and the communities along Lake Simcoe. We install Armadura steel shingles, standing seam and Classic Aluminum shingles, and we don’t install asphalt.
Many York Region homes were built in the subdivisions of the 1980s, ’90s and 2000s, and their original asphalt roofs are now near the end of their life. Others sit in heritage areas such as Unionville and Kleinburg. Either way, we’ll help you choose the system that suits your house. Every roof we install uses interlocking panels with hidden fasteners, installed direct to deck and never on strapping.
A Real York Region Metal Roof: Markham
70 Promelia Crt. in Markham was roofed with Classic Rustic aluminum shingles in Terra Red. Rustic’s deep wood-grain texture gives the home the look of a cedar shake roof, without the splitting, mould or rot, and the bold red makes it stand out on the street.

We are extremely impressed with our new Armadura metal roof which was installed by Classic Products Metal Roofing Systems Inc. What a difference it has made to our home! Not only has the look of our home improved by 10-fold, but we also have the peace of mind of not ever worrying about shingles blowing off in a storm or having to replace the roof again. The whole process was amazing! It was a pleasure working with Darryl and his team!

We were initially in the market for a metal roof so we gravitated towards Classic Metal Roofing in thanks to both their reviews and their excellent product offerings/gallery. Classic Metal was always available for any questions regarding our roofing during installation and their work crew was excellent and well mannered. The work crew was punctual, worked extra if they wanted to get more done and worked very hard. The job took less time then we originally thought it would. We originally thought the metal roof would increase noise, but we were pleasantly surprised to find it not only reduced noise but, also reduced having too much heat transfer. Even in the rain, the roof is more quiet than the prior shingle roof. Would highly recommend Classic Metal roofing for roof installations if you’re thinking about a new roof that will last a very long time.

We are very happy with our new Slate Grey metal roof. The sales representative took the time to explain and show us their product and did not pressure us. Darryl and the crew sent from Classic Products Metal Roofing Systems Inc. were very professional and pleasant to deal with. The workers were very nice and worked hard to complete our house and garage quickly, they made sure we were happy with everything and they cleaned up before they left. As a pool owner we opted to upgrade to a metal roof as it eliminated the asphalt shingle stones from falling on the pool deck and in our pool. We would highly recommend this company due to the great look of the product and we have received many compliments from our friends and neighbours.

What Does Metal Roofing Cost in York Region?
It depends on your roof: its size and pitch, how many valleys and dormers it has, whether the old shingles come off, and which system you choose. Steel and aluminum shingles can often go over one layer of existing shingles, while standing seam always needs a tear-off. That’s why we don’t publish a price list. Instead, one of our salespeople visits your home, measures the roof, brings samples and gives you a detailed quote, along with a free attic check. There’s no pressure and no obligation.
