Metal Roofing in Durham Region
Steel shingles, standing seam and aluminum roofing, from Pickering to Bowmanville and Uxbridge.
Classic Products has installed metal roofing across Durham Region, from Pickering and Ajax to Whitby, Oshawa and Bowmanville. We install Armadura steel shingles, standing seam and Classic Aluminum shingles, but we don’t install asphalt.
Durham has established neighbourhoods, fast-growing suburbs and rural properties up toward Uxbridge and Scugog. Out in the country, homes also take more wind than those in town. Whatever you own, we’ll help you choose the system that suits it. Also, every roof we install uses interlocking panels with hidden fasteners, installed direct to deck and never on strapping.
A Real Durham Project: Whitby
We roofed 407 Ontario Crt. in Whitby with Armadura steel shingles in Eclipse. As a result, this established suburban home now has a crisp, slate-like look. In addition, steel resists impact and lasts for decades.

I had the Rustic in Mustang Brown installed 15 years ago. The roof still looks brand new and beautiful. The whole experience from consult to installation was exceptional and the crew that installed the roof went above and beyond, clearing a carpenter ant colony hidden behind the siding of our house. The winter we realized we needed a few more snow guards and someone was on site the day after we called, installed them no questions asked. I am so happy we decided to invest in the metal roof, while my next door neighbor (semidetched home) is still regretting not doing it as he had to reshingle his roof twice since.

We were initially in the market for a metal roof so we gravitated towards Classic Metal Roofing in thanks to both their reviews and their excellent product offerings/gallery. Classic Metal was always available for any questions regarding our roofing during installation and their work crew was excellent and well mannered. The work crew was punctual, worked extra if they wanted to get more done and worked very hard. The job took less time then we originally thought it would. We originally thought the metal roof would increase noise, but we were pleasantly surprised to find it not only reduced noise but, also reduced having too much heat transfer. Even in the rain, the roof is more quiet than the prior shingle roof. Would highly recommend Classic Metal roofing for roof installations if you’re thinking about a new roof that will last a very long time.

Highly recommend Classic Product Roofing Systems, very easy to deal with, the owner Darryl is super nice to talk to and informative. Our roof was here in a week and the install crew had it done in just one weekend. They were amazing and very friendly. Very happy with everything from start to finish.

What Does Metal Roofing Cost in Durham Region?
It depends on your roof: its size, pitch, valleys and dormers, what’s on it now, and which system you choose. Steel and aluminum shingles can often go over one layer of asphalt shingles. However, standing seam always needs a tear-off. That’s why we don’t publish a price list. Instead, one of our salespeople visits your home to measure the roof and show you samples. Then you get a detailed quote, along with a free attic check. There’s no pressure and no obligation.
